On a day when we celebrate our independent nation, we also celebrate the independent individual and revel in our artistic and creative energies. These can manifest in so many ways; you need not be an artist or designer to be artistic or creative.
Business ideas demand creative thought. Even the organizing of numbers by an accountant is artistic in nature, as long as they comply with accepted bookkeeping practices. A little examination of our abilities will reveal we are creative and artistic-as parents, as lovers, as workers, as healers, in our magic, and in the mundane.
We have become the people we are today because of our ability to see things in a manner that creates and re-creates who we are. We are a work of art to ourselves and others. Celebrate the independence of individual spirit.
