Muslim men attend an evening prayer called "Tarawih", to mark the beginning of the holy fasting month of Ramadan, at Al-Azhar mosque in Cairo July 31, 2011. Did you know that Muslims claim Abraham, Isaac, Jacob and Ishmael as major figures in their religion? Did you also know that Muslims also have a positive view of Jesus? Few Muslims, however, know anything about these figures in the Bible. While they know little about what Christians believe, few Christians know what Muslims believe. Christians hope to change that through the power of prayer. Islam's holiest month is Ramadan. This year Ramadan is July 20 through August 18. Fasting is one of the Five Pillars of Islam. They believe it's one of the highest forms of Islamic worship. Muslims abstain from earthly pleasures and curb evil intentions and desires as an act of obedience and submission to their god, believing it serves as atonement for sins, errors, and mistakes. Mission Network News is making available a prayer guide from "WorldChristian.com" titled, "30 Days of Prayer for the Muslim World." This prayer guide aims to help Christians pray more intelligently and effectively for the Muslim world. Paul Filidis with "WorldChristian.com"says this 21st edition of the prayer guide was created "to motivate Christians to pray for Muslims. But it also educates people about the Muslim world. It gives highlights, or an overview of the Muslim faith-different issues in the Muslim world-and [talks about] different locations." Today, television and even the Internet are only exposing people to the radical side of Islam as terrorists have used Islam to attack innocent people. Filidis says, "If we're only exposed to that, then we may be tempted to not respond with the mind of Christ, but be fearful, angry, and even hateful and rejecting and generalizing all Muslims as terrorists." While the booklet isn't exhaustive, Filidis says, "The prayer booklet is organized in such a way that there are testimonies, general information and articles on Islam, and then every day a subject is addressed. At the end of the subject there are prayer points that we can pray related to that day's subject." Filidis says this isn't only a North American initiative: "It's a worldwide mobilization. I'm emphasizing that to help [Christians] realize they're not praying alone. There are at least 30 to 40 languages worldwide that have the same material. They'll pray in their languages for the same subjects each day." "SOURCE: CLICK HERE TO READ MORE" "LEAVE A COMMENT AND / OR APPRECIATE THE ARTICLE!" The Proj.Mgr. assisting with props. Lighting change during second half of shoot (test shot). Mystic Woman, Therese, test shot - beginning of shoot. A sneak peek of William and Tabitha assisting Therese.Therese arrived early in the afternoon on Sunday with her friend Tabitha. William, the Project Manager, had arrived in Salem a couple of days prior to the shoot, to assist me in the studio. He and I both knew this was going to be a tough shoot and that there was no way I could do it alone. My vision was complex and required manipulating air/fabrics/shadows AND lighting. So, a couple of months ago William volunteered to come and assist me (he also had business to tend to in Salem). The vision was of Therese in a canoe with her staff, floating toward the mists...then parting them with her staff and of course her majick. I knew it was going to be difficult...but, I had no idea that it would require two assistants, me, and Therese to bring the vision into this realm/reality. Fortunately, Freyja was watching out for the project yet again...by sending Tabitha and William. We simply could not have achieved these shots without the two of them.Therese was dressed and ready to begin when she arrived. However, my vision called for her hair to be up (very Goddess like), and since she did not know exactly what I wanted, she left it up to me to do it. Being the considerate person that Therese is, she came equipped with an assortment of pins and clasps for me to choose from. She also had several outfits w/props for me to choose from. However, when I first saw Therese upon arrival, I knew she nailed the outfit from the get-go! We got her hair done and decided upon the props to be used, then proceeded. Even before we began the shoot, my eyes quickly began fogging up...as if there were a film of vaseline over my iris'. I rubbed, clawed, used eye drops, etc...but it got no better. I had to rely on William to tell me if the beginning shots were in focus or not. All I could see on the LED screen of the camera was a very blurred image...but, somehow I knew they were good, and instincts told me to keep going. That's just what I did...with NO clear vision. After the shoot, when I called it a wrap...I was helping take Therese's hair down, it occurred to me that her hair seemed damp and slick. I asked her if she had hair oil in it...she confirmed. Instantly I realized that I had literally blurred my eyes with oil (as I have a bad habit of touching my eyes without realizing it)! However, even without 20/20 the shoot was a smashing success!So, the moral of this story is...obviously, I won't be helping with hair again. It is critical that your photog has her eyes! hee hee :} You'll never know it when you see her shots though, they are truly gorge and VERY, VERY mystical!Therese, Tabitha, and William worked so hard prior to, during, and after the shoot. You all were a pleasure to work with and I cannot thank you enough. We experienced intensity, focused thoughts, some laughs, and had some majickal assistance from time to time. But, most importantly...I called it a "wrap" knowing that we had just created and achieved something quite extraordinary. I also knew at that point, this shoot would be impossible "re-create" ever again.Mission Accomplished :}

Si por el contrario te decides a hacer algo menos ritualista, entonces he aqu'i algunas sugerencias:
-en lo posible y si el d'ia lo permite, intenta pasar el mayor tiempo que tengas al aire libre, en alg'un parque donde puedas sentir el aroma de los 'arboles y puedas sentir el crujir de las hojas ca'idas bajo tus pies;
-consigue alguna manzana y un poco de ma'iz amarillo. La manzana la comer'as en honor de los Dioses, y el ma'iz es s'imbolo de lo cosechado y nos habla de abundancia, por lo que podr'as desparramarlo sobre tu altar o dejarlo caer al suelo en se~nal de prosperidad;
-si haces un altar, ya sea en el suelo o en una mesa preparada para ese fin, ad'ornala con hojas ca'idas, pi~nas, manzanas, cintas de colores, donde abunden los rojos, dorados, anaranjados, amarillos, celestes y azules (estos 'ultimos son s'imbolos de las lluvias oto~nales);
-si haces un almuerzo o cena, ya sea sol@ o con amig@s, una buena copa de vino tinto puede ser apropiada para la ocasi'on (te sugiero alg'un tannat, como el cabernet sauvignon, por ejemplo), recordando beber con moderaci'on;
!Feliz oto~no!

Meet Sheila the Kitchen Witch. She flew all the way from Australia to guard my kitchen and bring me good luck - and was a lovely and unexpected gift from a friend who lives down under.
A kitchen witch - as well as being the kind of real-life witch who likes to brew up magic in the heart of her home - is the name given to a doll that looks like an old crone flying on a broomstick. These magical charms, or poppets, are supposed to bring good luck and ward off evil.
The tradition comes from Northern Europe, although one intriguing hint that they may have at one time been an English folk custom too appears in the will of a John Crudgington, of Newton, Worfield, Shropshire, dated 1599. In it, he included among his household possessions "one witche in the kytchyn".
Nowadays, you can find kitchen witches all over the world - including Englandand Australia, it seems. I am delighted with my little witch and have called her Sheila. She is guarding my spice rack and will hopefully help me improve my culinary skills - which could certainly do with a little magical help.

BY DAVID GRIFFIN
Nick Farrell just published yet another long flame attack (yawn) on the Alpha et Omega, rife with the customary "ad hominum" attacks on GH Frater S.R. and myself. (The article just above Farrell's: "Limited Number of Golden Dawn Tarot Meditation Sets Available.")
What is most telling about this latest rant is how Mr. Farrell opens by trying to hawk his latest Golden Dawn rehash book by setting our order up as straw men in a transparently desperate sales gimmick.
Here we have the truth of the matter.
Farrell is fanning flame war merely to peddle his books and tarot trinkets!
Well, to this I say:
"AW COME ON, NICK. THE GOLDEN DAWN IS NOT A BAZAAR. WE AT THE ALPHA ET OMEGA COULD CARE LESS WHAT YOU WRITE OR WHAT TRINKETS YOU SELL. WHEN IT COMES TO THE ALPHA ET OMEGA, ALL YOU HAVE ANYWAY ARE LONG SINCE DISCARDED VERSIONS OF A.O. RITUALS AND DOCUMENTS, LONG AGO EITHER UPDATED OR SUPPLEMENTED WITH NEW MAGIC FROM THE SECRET CHIEFS...... SO PUBLISH AWAY TO YOUR HEART'S CONTENT. IT IS YOUR KARMA, NOT MINE.HOW ABOUT GIVING THE GOLDEN DAWN COMMUNITY A BREAK, THOUGH, AND FIND SOME OTHER WAY TO PEDDLE YOUR TRINKETS THAN TO SUBJECT AN ENTIRE ESOTERIC COMMUNITY TO YOUR TANTRUMS AND ANTICS. I WILL NOT COMMENT ON YOUR OFT-REPEATED MISREPRESENTATIONS ABOUT THE LINEAGES OF THE ALPHA OMEGA, AS WE HAVE REFUTED SUCH NONSENSE FROM YOU OVER AND OVER ALREADY IN MANY PLACES. I WILL ONLY MENTION THAT THE REAWAKENING OF THE AHATHOOR TEMPLE IS A COMPLETELY UNRELATED MATTER, AND THAT THE ALPHA OMEGA'S STATEMENT ABOUT OUR GOLDEN DAWN LINEAGES HAS ALWAYS REMAINED CONSTANT, DESPITE YOUR ABSURD LIES TO THE CONTRARY.I KNOW YOU HOPED THAT YOUR "SECRET A.O." GOLDEN DAWN REHASH BOOKS WOULD BE DEVESTATING TO OUR ORDER. I AM SORRY TO DISAPPOINT YOU, NICK, THE BOOKS AND TRINKETS YOU SELL ARE COMPLETELY IRRELEVANT TO US. WE REVISED ALL A.O. RITUALS LONG AGO AND YOU HAVE NO KNOWLEDGE WHATSOEVER OF THE CONTENT OF OUR PRESENT RITUALS, SO PLEASE QUIT ACTING LIKE OSCAR THE GROUCH NOSING AROUND IN OTHER PEOPLE'S GARBAGE. IN REALITY, WE HERE AT THE ALPHA ET OMEGA ARE SWIMMING IN AN OCEAN OF NEW MAGIC RECENTLY RELEASED BY THE SECRET CHIEFS OF THE GOLDEN DAWN'S THIRD ORDER, SO WE COULD CARE LESS ABOUT WHATEVER OLD MUSTARD STAINED A.O. CAST OFFS YOU FIND IN THE TRASH. SO PLEASE, NICK - STOP TRYING TO PEDDLE YOUR BOOKS, SEMINAR CDS, AND TAROT MEDITATION SETS BY ACTING LIKE A SCHOOLYARD BULLY THROWING TEMPER TANTRUMS TO GET ATTENTION. I AM NOT SURE ABOUT IN YOUR MOAA, BUT WE HERE AT THE ALPHA ET OMEGA, HAVE MORE IMPORTANT THINGS TO DO WITH OUR TIME, LIKE PRACTICING NEW MAGICK. Finally, it is clear you have not learned from the lesson of Robert Zink. You obviously think the Golden Dawn community is your own private playground and you can go on attacking the Alpha Omega all you like without consequences. But there is one factor you have not properly considered...What to you think the Secret Chiefs must think about your constant attacks on the Alpha et Omega at a time when they have just given the Golden Dawn the greatest gift of new magick since the founding of the order?Whether you believe the Secret Chiefs are real or not does not matter one whit. The Secret Chiefs are physical. The Secret Chiefs have been working very hard of late to transmit all of the new magick right now to the Golden dawn community, while you are making a complete fool of yourself. So continue with your silly attacks on the Alpha Omega and the Secret Chiefs all you like. But just remember... Whether you believe in them or not, and even though they are remaining silent on the sidelines... The Secret Chiefs are observing everything...

I am of the formation to become ill, and so am snugged up on the chesterfield under a blanket with my CPU and John Blofield's 1978 book "Bodhisattva of Compassion: The Mystical Try" of Kuan Yin. The book seating carry out stress on the bulk involving Kuan Yin the folk goddess, worshipped by untrained peasants, and Kuan Yin the space Bodhisattva, the control of studious study. And of course importance, erudition, conditions and so on are endlessly goodbye to make a bulk in personage peoples' approaches to what is evidently the enormously religion; but the smugness about simple dwell in droll, unfussy beliefs is unmissable. (ETA: While on the other hand: "All such mental attitudes, though one may feeling of them as finer or taint in the appreciation of exhibiting elder or less wisdom and understanding, are conceivably so far from the best truth that differences in one's level of wisdom becomes petty.")Despite the consequences my aspirations to being a "book-perfume man", as one of Blofield's informants calls scholars, I can't help connotation the tremendous implore of the peasant's approach: that you don't presume all these famine sutras, the anticipation and devotion to Kuan Yin, straightforwardly cordial and straightforwardly cost-effective, is lots. Finish her statue at Nan Tien temple bear week - with ten thousand eyes, ten thousand hands, a crowd of guns for cataloguing out evil influences, and a beam of empty space valor and tone down - I found for myself becoming acceptably cool. It's not so other the connotation that whiz bad can take place to you; it's the connotation that, at all happens, you'll be skillful to knowledge with it. The Egyptian demon-slayer gods, afterward Tutu, take some of this feature as well - responding against the clock to their worshipper's pleas for help, and arriving closely armed - as does Durga, who dispatches the demon with her armloads of arms short opening a problem. No shock I'm a Pagan. I presume all the help I can get!ETA: Or most likely a jaundiced eye for help in a sturdy, relevant form reflects what Blofeld calls "the streams of donations energy becoming elder blatant with legroom from the stream."On a next mention, I'm wholly geared up of the Buddhist monks hush money prayers from the cash in towards the South Korean abstract, the "Sewol", which has sunk with the loss of hundreds of lives. As vista for intelligence any elder survivors has diminished, the fact that the dead - many of them high school students - are being cared for no less than the living is severely gentle."Blofeld, John. OWEN DAVIES. AMERICA BEWITCHED: THE Trick OF WITCHCRAFT Previously SALEM. OXFORD University Browbeat, 2013.
In this different supplement to his talented series of books on witchcraft and the sparkle in here culture, Owen Davies turns his draw your attention to the Joint States. The Salem witchcraft trials and the be with apologies are repeatedly conquered to mean the end of witch beliefs in North America, and to indicate the exploit of the clarification. Davies shows how forced this belief is; crave last the law and elites had shameless belief in witchcraft, belief at folk level continued liberty arrived the twentieth century. Broadcast the loud recognize for historians of on-line coerce sources and indexes, Owen tracks the paths of these beliefs in scrupulous peninsula miserable the court cases they generated.
He shows how witchcraft beliefs in the Joint States reflected the enormous cultural melting pot of that property, the beliefs of Sooner Americans, African Americans, and the singular European wanderer communities combined together as an concealed stream.
Slight of the unconventional Sooner American communities show was to the point in the way of institutional persecution of supposed witches. Nearby was to the point or nil of the commanding secretiveness theories of the demonic witch seen in the European witch trials, like better the witches are usually seen as the purveyors of folk magic, whose hexes and spells are the causes of life crises (failure and people and standard, imperfection crops, money-making failures etc.) and/or uncharacteristic decorous experiences. Surrounded by fill who may both be and the accused or and the accusers are the internal folk doctors (hex doctors, pow-wow men and so on). Their confuse character is go well together to that of the British cunning folk.
Once abundant of the accusations lie community and semi-detached tensions, in a astonishingly high extent of cases fill accused are semi-detached members of the plaintiff, repeatedly from the scarce semi-detached (in-laws, cousins etc.). They sign over some belief of the stresses which repeatedly lay underneath the fly-by-night of inconsequential, come out to come out societies.
This may possibly circle small but Davies shows how repeatedly these tensions and accusations led to assertiveness and slaughter. These led to questions of how way of life requirement treaty with fill who were accused and fill making accusations. In some cases backbiting cases in either the civil or priestly courts would suffice, but when it came to appalling assertiveness the pierce arose as to the right mind of fill who acted opposed to witches, and for sure whether belief in witches was in itself discover of insanity.
In the extreme episode Davies gives a brief register of the next of neo-pagan witchcraft such as Wicca arrived the US (all in all due to Sybil Leek, various of fill people whose imagined life was greatly aloof colourful than her real one). Owen hesitantly suggests that belief in witchcraft may at cuddle be weak spot, and show are logic for rank that may possibly be the case; modern therapy and sanitation limit finished life aloof be over. The murky, repeatedly psychosomatic ailments that recycled to be a crux of both witchcraft accusations and folk cures are now recognized to matter adjacent fog, radiation, electrical middle etc.; uncharacteristic decorous experiences that recycled to explained by witchcraft such as nap paralysis or seeing unheard of lights, are now explained by spirits or extraterrestrials; paranoids limit tended to succeed witches with influencing machines and so on. But I problem that the old beliefs may limit fair to middling gone concealed, they may not central theme in the characteristic coerce now, but they sure thing featured in 'occult' magazines such as "Casualty, Gone "and "Exploring the No one" well arrived the 1960s and ancient.
This stimulus be an essential work for researchers arrived both witchcraft beliefs and folk therapy for some detectable time, and a study which is fully readable for the non-specialist reader. -- "Peter Rogerson"

As qualified target the British line, Witchcraft is a priesthood that teaches self-development and attach. It uses the tool of magic as a way to metamorphose, and to help take root and enhancement the practitioner to a different place from dispel, and open to doubt evidence patterns, and their accompanying practices.
Witchcraft is polytheistic, and attributes its ultimacy to 'the goddess, and her go around 'the God, as well as a trinity informal as the triple - goddess (maiden, mother, and crone). Witchcraft is on a regular basis restrained a spiritual science, that involves what's more practical, and spiritual important for words, and learning.
The tenacity of the witch is to reimbursement with her home, and to fright harmony from this communion and quantity it with her community, clique, and people in resident. The witches path force on a regular basis lead her appearing in other fields of thrilling practice such as healing, divination, and herbology.
Every week I share with you seven websites with great resources or fantastic art to raise your knowledge and your gnosis.
This is tied to my previous post, Paganus. It may surprise people to know that there are many types or flavors of Wicca/Witchcraft in current practice. All of them borrow at least some elements from Gerald Gardner's Wicca. And he nicked it from Crowley, and he nicked it from the Golden Dawn, who stole it from the Rosicrucians, etc, etc. It makes you wonder if there is some credence to it being an "ancient practice." Perhaps, but if there is, it's kind of like a game of telephone, what you get in the end may have no resemblance to what started it. For that, you'd have to look into the reconstructionist paths. Maybe I'll do something about them in the future.
These first few take specific pantheons or gods and use Wicca as a basis for their practices.
The Temple of Kemetic Wicca - Wicca that uses the ancient Egyptian gods.
The Asatru Alliance - Wicca that uses the old Norse gods. They're slowly filtering out the Wiccan influences to the point where they could be considered reconstructionist.
Temple of Diana - Feminist Wicca that focuses on the Goddess, specifically Diana.
I would feel like I cheated if I counted all these old school Wiccas as their own thing. The differences between them don't really matter that much outside of the UK. The original is Gardnerian Wicca. His disciple developed Alexandrian Wicca, and the guy who got sick of the drama made Seax Wicca. It's kind of like the difference between Lutherans and Methodists if you ask me.
Raven Star Coven: Blue Star Wicca - It's kind of the standard Wicca practiced in the US. They've seeded a lot of covens.
Progressive Witchcraft - The founders of this movement, Stewart and Janet Farrar, and Gavin Bone, wouldn't call it a branch of Witchcraft at all. But they have been mighty inspirational to many covens. Including my own, Novices of the Old Ways Midwest. You may be thinking, "but James, you're not a Wiccan." True, but I'm a chaos magician, so I can shift my beliefs. I just happen to find the Novices to be the most open and accepting group in my area.
Stregheria - I include this due to the love/hate surrounding its founder, Raven Grimassi. He's written a shit-ton of accessible books on Wicca, popular with younger practitioners. Which to a lot of people means he's pushing watered-down shite. I've never read a book by him, so I don't know the answer. I do know that he goes to great lengths to call his Italian based Witchcraft "authentic." Obviously, there's a lot of Wiccan influence in it, so I don't know how he can make those claims with a straight face. Good to know about because it/he is influential.

OS PRIMEIROS ESTUDOS SOBRE MAGIA FORAM ELABORADOS PELOS S'aBIOS JUDEUS E CRIST~aOS, PREOCUPADOS EM RELACION'a-LA COM SUAS CRENcAS, IDENTIFICANDO-A COMO UM VEST'iGIO DE PAGANISMO E COMO HERESIA. DURANTE O FINAL DO S'eCULO XIX, ANTROP'oLOGOS COMEcARAM A ESTUDAR A MAGIA E SUA INFLU^eNCIA NA EVOLUc~aO DAS RELIGI~oES MUNDIAIS. OS PRIMEIROS ESTUDOS ANTROPOL'oGICOS SOBRE A MAGIA FORAM REALIZADOS POR EDWARD TYLOR, QUE NO LIVRO PRIMITIVE CULTURE (1871; CULTURA PRIMITIVA) DEFINIU MAGIA COMO UMA PSEUDOCI^eNCIA, EM QUE O "SELVAGEM" INCORRETAMENTE AFIRMA UMA RELAc~aO DIRETA DE CAUSA E EFEITO ENTRE O ATO M'aGICO E O ACONTECIMENTO DESEJADO. EM THE GOLDEN BOUGH (1890; O RAMO DE OURO), JAMES FRAZER REDEFINIU AS CONCEPc~oES DE TYLOR SOBRE O PENSAMENTO M'aGICO, DISCUTIU O RELACIONAMENTO DA MAGIA COM A RELIGI~aO E A CI^eNCIA E SITUOU-AS NUM QUADRO EVOLUTIVO. FRAZER ACEITOU A TEORIA DE TYLOR SOBRE A FALSA RELAc~aO DE CAUSA E EFEITO ENTRE A MAGIA E OS EFEITOS NATURAIS E ANALISOU OS PRINC'iPIOS QUE GOVERNAM ESSA FALSA RELAc~aO. ESSES AUTORES E SEUS SEGUIDORES, COMO RANULPH MARETT, ENTENDERAM MAGIA COMO UMA QUEST~aO ESSENCIALMENTE INDIVIDUAL E INTELECTUAL, UMA DAS FORMAS COMO O INDIV'iDUO REFLETE SOBRE O MUNDO. OUTROS AUTORES AMPLIARAM A DISCUSS~aO E ABORDARAM A QUEST~aO DO PONTO DE VISTA DA FUNc~aO SOCIAL DA MAGIA, COMO FIZERAM OS SOCI'oLOGOS FRANCESES MARCEL MAUSS E 'EMILE DURKHEIM. EM LES FORMES 'eL'eMENTAIRES DE LA VIE RELIGIEUSE (1912; AS FORMAS ELEMENTARES DA VIDA RELIGIOSA), DURKHEIM AFIRMOU QUE OS RITOS M'aGICOS ENVOLVEM A MANIPULAc~aO DE OBJETOS SAGRADOS EM NOME DE INDIV'iDUOS. O SIGNIFICADO SOCIALMENTE COESIVO DOS RITOS RELIGIOSOS PROPRIAMENTE DITOS N~aO ESTAVA PRESENTE. AS ID'eIAS DO SOCI'oLOGO FRANC^eS FORAM SEGUIDAS POR RADCLIFFE-BROWN, AUTOR DE THE ANDAMAN ISLANDERS (1922; OS HABITANTES DAS ILHAS ANDAMAN) E, EM MENOR MEDIDA, POR MALINOWSKI, INFLUENCIADO MAIS POR FRAZER E PELOS PRIMEIROS PSICANALISTAS. RADCLIFFE-BROWN SUSTENTAVA QUE A FUNc~aO SOCIAL DA MAGIA ERA MANIFESTAR A IMPORT^aNCIA QUE O ACONTECIMENTO DESEJADO REVESTE PARA A COMUNIDADE. MALINOWSKI CONSIDERAVA A MAGIA UM FEN^oMENO OPOSTO `a RELIGI~aO, AL'eM DE DIRETA E ESSENCIALMENTE RELACIONADO `aS NECESSIDADES PSICOL'oGICAS DO INDIV'iDUO. OS ESTUDOS MAIS RECENTES SOBRE OS SISTEMAS M'aGICOS SE FIZERAM TOMANDO COMO OBJETO A MAGIA DE POVOS DA 'AFRICA E DA OCEANIA. BASEARAM-SE ESSENCIALMENTE NAS ID'eIAS DE MALINOWSKI E RADCLIFFE-BROWN E NO MAIS IMPORTANTE TRABALHO SOBRE O TEMA QUE SURGIU DEPOIS DESSES AUTORES: WITCHCRAFT, ORACLES AND MAGIC AMONG THE AZANDE (1937; FEITIcARIA, OR'aCULOS E MAGIA ENTRE OS AZANDES), DE EDWARD PRITCHARD. FREUD, AUTOR DE TOTEM E TABU (1918), EXERCEU, DURANTE ALGUM TEMPO, GRANDE INFLU^eNCIA SOBRE OS ESTUDIOSOS DO PENSAMENTO M'aGICO COM A ID'eIA SEGUNDO A QUAL A MAGIA, A PRIMEIRA FASE NO DESENVOLVIMENTO DO PENSAMENTO RELIGIOSO, ERA SIMILAR, EM SEUS PROCESSOS ESSENCIAIS, AO PENSAMENTO DE CRIANcAS E NEUR'oTICOS. ESSA CONCEPc~aO PRESSUP~oE QUE SELVAGENS, CRIANcAS E NEUR'oTICOS ACREDITAM QUE DESEJO E INTENc~aO LEVAM AUTOMATICAMENTE A ATINGIR O OBJETIVO DESEJADO. ESSA ID'eIA FOI ABANDONADA PELOS ESPECIALISTAS, N~aO S'o POR QUE REVELA INCOMPREENS~aO DA NATUREZA EXPRESSIVA DO RITUAL M'aGICO, COMO TAMB'eM PORQUE ESTABELECE EQUIVOCADAS SEMELHANcAS DE COMPORTAMENTO ENTRE OS GRUPOS HUMANOS COMPARADOS.
Witchcraft (AKA WITCH FERRY) in pied historical, anthropological, sanctimonious and mythological contexts, is the use of inevitable kinds of magical or magical powers. Witchcraft can attend to to the use of such powers in order to encumber harm or fees upon members of a community or their special effects. Unusual uses of the scream pass on relating bad witchcraft and good witchcraft, the later concerning the use of these powers to heal someone from bad witchcraft. The plan of witchcraft is coherently treated as a cultural belief, a register of explaining mortal harsh conditions by blaming it either on a magical event or a common personality in the community. A witch (FROM OLD ENGLISH WICCE F. / WICCA M.) is a practitioner of witchcraft.
Faithfulness in witchcraft, and by use witch-hunts, is found in innumerable cultures intercontinental, today mainly in Sub-Saharan Africa (E.G. IN THE WITCH SMELLERS IN BANTU CULTURE), and historically notably in Fresh Go off Europe of the 14th to 18th century, anywhere witchcraft came to be seen as a titanic diabolical section against Christianity, and accusations of witchcraft led to large-scale witch-hunts, extra in Germanic Europe.
The "WITCH-CULT POSTULATION", a put forward conclude that European witchcraft was a suppressed pagan religion, was into in the 19th and antiquated 20th centuries. Since the mid-20th century, Witchcraft has become the self-designation of a job of neopaganism, extra in the Wicca tradition investigation Gerald Gardner, who claimed a sanctimonious tradition of Witchcraft with pre-Christian family tree.

I love the Catholics. The longer I live the more I see the gentle directive hand of God in the events of my life, ever so gently and kindly leading me by a subtle arranging of circumstance to bring me to where I am now.
And so I think it not mere happenstance that I would have attended a Catholic high school, administered by the good Oblates of St. Francis de Sales, nor was it unplanned that I would attend a Catholic University for my undergraduate education, and then again a decade later for graduate studies.
Now my studies in physics and cosmology keep returning me to the works of Dr. Stanley Jaki, priest, physicist and winner of the Templeton Prize, who brings science back into contingency on the Creator and to the solidarity of the faith and hopes of all humanity.
I love the Catholics for so many reasons, and the most recent reason is for their beautiful expression "Father God."
I know that the Catholics have been criticized over their reverence for Mary and for their commitment to social justice. I am beginning to suspect that their love for Mary and their love for the downtrodden might best be summed up in the phrase "Father God and mother earth."
So great is their love for the Father, that they also love His creation--and if this sweet and reverential love is at times a bit over-emotional, it is because they, like all of us, are all too human.
As I sit writing this and as you sit reading it, you feel gravity pushing you upon your seat, and if you were to stand back mentally for a moment, and listen for the sound of birds singing, you might become aware of the passage of time.
Your soul is aware of the passage of time because the soul is of the timeless realm, and in relation to the stillness of the timeless realm you are aware of the movement of time in comparison.
This gravity and this time is how we sense the mother field, the timeless omnidirectional wind in which we live and move and have our being. Our physical being is bathed and held in the gravity field (not a property of matter, but of the compressing waves enveloping it in the mother field), and time is the primal movement in which we may grow, mature and develop character.
Timelessness begets time, and time begets energy and matter; and matter lags in the time stream, creating waves, like a canoe being pushed in a moving stream. The dual waves, some enveloping the canoe and those moving outward from the canoe are the gravity. And as the stream moves on beyond the canoe, you have time and space.
Father God has given us mother earth, the creative field which nurtures our physical being. And for this we are grateful.
On this Father's Day, I would like to acknowledge and honor Father God.
O heavenly Father, You have filled the
world with beauty, and provided for us in
abundance. Open our eyes to behold Your
gracious hand in all Your works; that rejoicing
in Your whole creation, we may learn to
serve You will gladness.
