Alchemical Metaphors Are Still Metaphors Vs Cailan On Bhme Alchemical Language
"In a few works he hand-me-down alchemical moral code and symbols worsening misgiving to raise a fuss theological realities. Borrowing alchemical vocabulary in order to describe devout and mystical frameworks, B"ohme alleged that alchemical dialogue is not perfectly a parable for laboratory analysis. Alchemy is a metaphysical science since he assumed that issue is fatal with spirit." Calian 2010, p.184.I can understand how writers similar B"ohme borrowed alchemical vocabulary, but I don't see how it follows that this avenue that alchemy was "not perfectly a parable." If he's using it as a parable to make a theological edge, isn't it important that the parable be a metaphor? It is not at all upright to me how this borrowing is drop of alchemy woman a "metaphysical science." Neither is it upright how this feel like of "issue fatal with spirit" makes alchemy enhanced than a parable. For instance give to is already a theological truthfulness to be described that doesn't instinctively need an alchemical notes, it seems that to sanction the alchemical end up of the parable is to pause to do lawfulness to the theological end up. Clearly alchemy has a spiritual important as it is woman hand-me-down to describe this theological truthfulness, but we run wearing hideous harms when we try to elate it as a "metaphysical science."
