I reviewed "Jesus Calling" HERE, and HERE.
"Journaling" is a new kind of activity that the New Agers are calling a spiritual discipline. Beth Moore does it, that is, she listens for God and accepts the force that comes and guides her very hand into writing things that are not from her own brain. I AM NOT MAKING THIS UP. You can learn more about why journaling to listen for God, is not a spiritual discipline but in fact is a FALSE SPIRITUAL ACTIVITY.
In any case, this blog entry is not about Sarah Young's book. It is about reaction to criticism of Sarah Young's book. Pastor Robert Allen King wrote "A CHRISTIAN REBUTTAL TO SARAH YOUNG'S 'JESUS CALLING"'" and released it on Kindle. A slim volume, the book goes through
"Young's erroneous method of placing her own personal reflections and meditations from her quiet time with God into the mouth of Jesus, infusing them with a false divine authority that will mislead her readers. The booklet will also go over the false teachings and incorrect theological concepts that have been presented to the world under the guise of approval by Jesus"."
The reviews were immediately negative, and oh so familiar in content and tone. Here are the titles of each review. The content of each review goes on in similar vein as you'd imagine from reading its heading:

"So Very Sad"

The reviews ran 2-1 against.

I have no further deep theological insight into this, other than to remark that this is to be expected and to encourage you all.
First, the bible:
"For the time is coming when people will not endure sound teaching, but having itching ears they will accumulate for themselves teachers to suit their own passions", (2 Timothy 4:3)
This verse has always been true since they were written 2000 years ago. It is no different today. Except it is.
In terms of speed with which the tide has turned, I've never seen it pile on faster than it is now, and today it is piling on faster than yesterday and tomorrow will be faster than today. Each day the heated rhetoric and the hate against Christians from people who call "themselves "Christians is getting hotter and hotter, higher and higher. Daily, it seems, the vitriol against speaking the truth in love is rising. No one seems to be allowed by the liberal or false element to judge, discern, criticize; nor to compare a speech, sermon, or work to scripture. None of that. We are supposed to accept anything and everything as long as the name "Jesus" is attached. Unquestioningly and wholly.
"They say to the seers, "See no more visions!" and to the prophets, "Give us no more visions of what is right! Tell us pleasant things, prophesy illusions." (Isaiah 30:10)
Please never stop preaching the truth in season and out of season. Please never stop comparing works to scripture to see if these things are true. Please never stop speaking up FOR Jesus, and His truth which He died to offer to the saints once for all.
Expect vitriol, but that is no matter, because Jesus is coming soon. And then, expect glory.

Also, I was merely stating my person opinion on the terms 'white' and 'black'.
But let me explain it to you as it was explained to me:
Dark Magic: Any and all forms of mysticism that seek to cause harm and pain or force your will upon others. This includes but is not limited to hex/curses, any spell that would seek to take someones personal choices away from them, spells to cause a blight or sickness, or mysticism in a similar vein.
Light Magic: The opposite of Dark Magic. This includes but is not limited to Blessings, spells for health and healing and in most situations fertility and warmth.
However, there are some forms of magic that are inherently grey such as psychic talent and similar schools of witchcraft.
Also...I think what matters MOST is your intent.
You can intend to harm someone by using a form of Light magic...and that makes it dark magic. Love spells are technically a form of Light magic...yet if you use one to force someone to fall in love with someone else against their will...then it's dark magic.
I hope I am making sense here.
That being said...seeing demons and spirits isn't dark magic inherently. Forcing those same entities to cause harm on others, however, is.
Learning Light magic is relatively simple. Seek ways to heal, help, and bless.

Hendrikse gained attention with his book published in November 2007, in which he said that it was not necessary to believe in God's existence in order to believe in "God". The Dutch title of the book translates as, "Believing in a God who does not exist: manifesto of an atheist pastor".
In his book, Hendrikse recounts how his conviction that God does not exist has become stronger over the years.
"The non-existence of God is for me not an obstacle but a precondition to believing in God. I am an atheist believer," Hendrikse writes in the book. "God is for me not a being but a word for what can happen between people. Someone says to you, for example, 'I will not abandon you', and then makes those words come true. It would be perfectly alright to call that [relationship] God."At least he is honest about what he believes - his superiors, though, seem very confused about their responsibilities. Episcopalians in this country have demonstrated, somewhat surprisingly, that they have limits:
Bishop Geralyn Wolf of the Episcopal Diocese of Rhode Island deposed Ann Holmes Redding, citing abandonment of Communion of The Episcopal Church.
Although Wolf has described Redding as a "woman of utmost integrity," the bishop said she "believes that a priest of the Church cannot be both a Christian and a Muslim," according to a statement by the Rhode Island diocese.....

She also said she does not believe that God and Jesus are the same and believes Jesus is divine just as all humans are divine..... [more]
Unlike the Dutch "pastor" she does at least believe in God, although her deficient understanding of who Jesus was [and is] marks her as no more a Christian than he is.

This listing is for one (1) candle - ANY KIND - YOUR CHOICE! Choose from any of my spell votive candles!
Clean burning soy blend candles loaded with organic & food grade dried herbs and 100% pure essential oils (not fragrance oils!)
Each candle is hand poured on the auspicious moon cycle (these on the Full Moon) in layers so the herbs are even distributed throughout and will burn approx. 12 hours. Soy burns cleanly without black soot build up.

+ Keep away from children or pets. My dogs find these candles very tasty!
+ Trim wicks to 1/8th inch each time before burning.

+ Keep out of direct sunlight or extreme temperatures.
For added power or scent, drip a few drops of one of my Magickal Oil into the wax pool around candle flame as it burns.
