Marjorie Orr Psychic
Author: Samantha Srillian

Marjorie Orr was born on September 9th 1944 in Glasgow, Scotland.

Marjorie studied Philosophy and English at Glasgow University, before embarking as a successful career as a journalist and television producer. She began her career on the Glasgow Herald newspaper, before moving on to STV and BBC Scotland.

During her TV career, Marjorie covered news, current affairs, movies and the arts. She became the first woman in the UK to edit a daily news magazine programme, and she won the Scottish RIC award for Four Seasons, a documentary she produced that featured four films on birth, marriage, retirement and death. She also produced a host of other successful documentaries, which included The Sean Connery Profile, Return to St Kilda and the Politics of Poverty.

It was Marjorie's career in documentary making that led her to her interest in astrology. She was organising a BBC series about the paranormal called 'Is Anybody There?', which prompted her to have her birth chart read. During the reading, Marjorie said that the astrologer "shook my belief in a rational universe and set me off on a learning curve which is still ongoing." As a non-believer with a scientific background, Marjorie was an unusual convert to astrology, but after her birth chart experience, she was hooked.

In the early 1980s, Marjorie gave up her lucrative TV career in order to concentrate on astrology full-time. She also went on to do some Jungian Psychotherapy training, which extended her understanding of the ways in which people relate to themselves and others.

In the last twenty years, Marjorie has become a well-known psychic, earning a strong reputation for her accurate predictions. She has written for the Sunday Times, Harpers and Queen, Teletext, Woman, Woman's Journal, the Express, News of the World, Elle, Cosmopolitan, and others, as well as racking up TV and radio appearances on the BBC, the World Service, Sky News, GMTV, Discovery Channel, Kilroy, TVAM, Granada Living and more. She also boasts an eclectic list of personal clients, which include high-profile city traders, business executives, politicians, and some famous names from show business and the arts.

As an ex-current affairs journalist, Marjorie is particularly interested in political astrology and looking at the horoscopes of important world leaders and countries. Because of this, she is happy to update her fans on how the planets are currently affecting nations around the world and their leaders.

Marjorie Orr is such a popular astrologer that her columns are syndicated in countries as far and wide as India, Eire, Africa, the Middle and Far East, Australia and South Africa. She is also a sought-after author who has published three best-selling books, Star Quality and the Lovers Guide, which are both published by HarperCollins, as well as the Astrological History of the World, which was published by Chrysalis in the summer of 2002.

In addition to her written work, Marjorie now offers a number of her psychic services via the phone. You'll be able to call her for up-to-the-minute forecasts on love, life, health, and family, as well as horoscopes for the day, month, and year ahead.

Samantha Srillian is a freelance writer, as well as a naturally gifted psychic medium and tarot card reader. She is interested in alternative therapies, angels and spiritual healing.

The Exhuminators Redux
Here's the Redux and redesigned Exhuminators.

I won't repeat it the last artwork's explanation but if you wish to see my old one, I recommend you to check it out. Here's the link: The Exhuminators

The last time I remembered when the Mummies Alive fan group puts the artwork on the villain folder and I explained to the founder, uddelhexe, and it was indeed which I should've explained to her; I modeled them after the villains from the show.

Now I've redesigned into something cool and awesome as you can see it right now. I was thinking about it which I made something even better than the old one.

Enjoy my redux artwork.

Leader: Harkmed and Kensuri

Alignment: Temple of the Ancients

Allies: Pharaoh's Guardians and Powerslave

Enemies: The Brotherhood of Chaos, the Brotherhood of Apep, King Kilmaatkhan and Idolus Xoanon

Location: Karnak, Egypt

Part time archeologists, part time tomb raiders. These Exhuminators from the Order of the Jackal are the experts on exhuming the dead and uncovering artifacts as well hunting down the cultists led by the evil Brotherhood of Apep dedicated to serve the evil. They battled their foes with their magic staff and machine gun (only Harkmed can wield that.)

Harkmed and Kensuri were the acolytes of the Order of the Jackal where they've studied magics, combat experience, and exhuming ancient artifacts. Life was good but too much for Harkmed because he had some badass attitude and hot-temper behavior but he and his partner passed the test. After years of training, they've become full sorcerers and the Exhuminators, a team of elite expert of excavation and tomb raiders.

Harkmed and Kensuri were sent into investigate the disturbance at the Valley of Ramses but only to find out that it was the cultists were behind all this but they'll discover more as they entered the tomb and found that they stole the corpse of the mummified King Ramses from his ancient sarcophagus. Then they saw the spiritual head of King Ramses and they were told that it was the evil alien race called the Kilmaats and they were the true responsible of disturbing the peace of the Valley.

As they were sent to the Temple of Gebi to recover the ancient weapon called the Sword of Horus, they were encountered by two exchange members of the Order of the Jackal, Masari Sarana, a student from the Order of Bastet; and Kimitha Hekheta, a deadly sexy sorceress from the Order of Sekhmet, at the Palace of Karnak. The two group agreed to work together and battled their way to the Temple of Gebi.

As they've reached the Temple of Gebi, they fought their way to get the Sword of Horus at the treasure chamber where it was defended by deathtraps. However, they used dead enemies as their cover to avoid deathtraps. But when they took the Sword of Horus from the altar, they were trapped as they were about to face their doom until they were rescued by two members from the Order of the Jackal, Teliko Al-Jaghal and Buruku, and together they've managed to escape the temple.

With these two so-called low ranking members' help, they went to the Temple of Set, where the cultist worshipped the deformed evil god and battled the gigantic false god himself. The battle was hard but not TOO hard until Harkmed grabbed his own non-magic weapon, the M-60, picked up from a dead unknown soldier, and defeated the evil god and literally destroyed it with massive damages by bullets.

So after that, the Exhuminators continue their task while Harkmed keeps his new and soon-to-be his favorite weapon.

On their way to find and recover the body of King Ramses, they travelled to the Scourged Temple Valley of Hellhounds and discovered the war camps of the cultists with their familiar symbol.

As they were spotted by the cultists, the Exhuminators were about to defend themselves but Harkmed puts them down with his M-60, killing all the cultists and destroying the statues of their evil gods. After a quick and short battle, they've identified the cultists' true name: the Brotherhood of Apep and they've also guessed that their nemesis was indeed attempting to bring their evil god back to the living realm and the Exhuminators must stop them at all cost.

As they were encountered by the spirit of King Ramses at the Temple of Horus, they were told and learn that the Brotherhood of Apep and the Kilmaats have created disturbing experiments, made with unspeakable horrors that they have used the essence of Chaos and their subjects they've captured. They were now tasked to destroy these subjects and free their souls at the alien Temple of Kilmaats.

They've travelled to the Temple of Kilmaats and infiltrated inside the temple where they've discovered the most disturbing findings: they've discovered the corpses of the Orders that they've been missing in action long time ago and since the beginning. And just they were about to destroy the experiments, they were spotted by the Kilmaats and the Brotherhood of Apep. There they faced their nemesis, Deshar Hanzar, the founder and the leader of the Brotherhood of Apep who was exiled by the Order of the Jackal; and his general, Wuhashi Khamur, who was responsible of wiping Harkmed's tribe out in the past when he was a baby.

Then, all hell broke loose when they fought their way out of the temple but not before they have to defeat the last subject, a insect-like monster, and slay it down by teamwork.

As they brought the head of the monster to King Ramses, they were now tasked to defeat the Brotherhood of Apep, cleanse the Kilmaats, and banish Apep before he entered the living realm.

The Exhuminators fought their way to reach their new destination: the Forbidden Temple of Apep and the Kilmaats' mothership, next to the Temple.

There they fought through their way to find Hanzar and Khamur and stop Apep before he could be released. As they've reached the main chamber, they found their nemesis but it's a little late for that when the ceremony has begun. Harkmed must face his destroyer while Kensuri must face the exiled member of the Order and the rest must disrupt the ceremony which they did to figured it out how to seal Apep away.

Harkmed and Kensuri managed to defeat their nemesis by using combined strength of bullets and magic (although it doesn't mixed well but only temporally.)

As they've managed to seal Apep away for good and destroyed their ceremony, the Exhuminators have learned that the Kilmaats have activated the self-destruct sequence from their ship and they must deactivate the sequence before the entire kingdom of Aegyptus will be wiped out.

As they raced against time, they fought their way into the mothership and deactivated the power nods connected to the self-destruct sequence as well eliminating the Kilmaat warriors.

As they entered the last chamber which it turns out to be the Kilmaats' throne room, they encountered the leader of the Kilmaats and self-proclaimed so-called the pharaoh of the galaxy himself, King Kilmaatkhan, and he's holding the corpse of King Ramses. And for the first time, they battled against King Kilmaatkhan in his first form then they were teleported to his domain of emptiness space realm and battled his second and true form. In a long hard battle, they finally defeated King Kilmaatkhan and recovered the corpse of King Ramses but they warned that the Kilmaats will return when the time is right but the Exhuminators will be ready for them. And then, they were teleported back to the real world by King Ramses himself and brought it back to the rightful place in the Tomb of Ramses.

As their tasks are completed, the Exhuminators were thanked by King Ramses and rewarded with new powers to combat the ultimate evil, knowing that the Brotherhood of Apep will return for revenge and they'll be ready for them. They returned to the Order of the Jackal and they were congratulated by them and the Temple of the Ancients for their heroic action for saving Aegyptus.

Their names will be remembered throughout the ancient history.

In the modern day in Egypt, the Exhuminators were seen by archeologists at the Valley of Kings, restoring ancient tombs of pharaohs as well uncover ancient artifacts. Later after that, they were recruited by the UN-GDI as one of their special team as the archeology experts.

The badass Anthro-Jackal-like Bulldog who was raised by ancient monks as a child. But during his training as a teenager, his badass attitude is a bit and utmost troubling until he passed the test. As a stubborn adult, he's now a fully sorcerer and one of the Exhuminators as he wield his dangerous weapon of the Order of the Jackal, the Staff of Destruction. Oh, and he also carries M60 machine gun as one of his favorite weapon despite his controversy.

The wise and gentle Anthro-Jackal who was member of High Sorcery of the Jackal and now the Exhuminator who is the partner of Harkmed since their childhood. He's very intelligent on mythical history and very good with strict magic spell as he wields his Staff of Wisdom. But one thing he doesn't well is handling these metal weapons with bullets from Harkmed.

Kimitha is the Avian-like Vulture who is the sexy and dangerous sorceress of the Exhuminators as well Harkmed's sexy interest. She carries her Staff of Pestilence, her weapon that it can fire deadly venoms and poisonous vipers that it can melt her enemies with her favorable taste of acid. (Seriously, don't try this at home or at the chemical facility!)

Masari is the Egyptian Catgirl who was graduated from her magic school after her grade reached highest and later recruited as the Exhuminator for excellent skills. She carries her Staff of Elementals and Kensuri's student and young adviser.

The wild Anthro-Jackal who was mugger and thief until he was caught by the Order of the Jackal. Trained as the sorcerer and became as the Exhuminator, he wields his Staff of Cunning which allows him to use his own tricks on his enemies.

The big hulking Anthro-Bulldog who had a ruff life as the dangerous pit warrior of Aegyptus, killing and crushing his opponents with bloody hands and gave them many bloody pulps. After he was kicked out and disqualified from the pit fight, he was recruited by the Order of the Jackal with his old friend and partner-in-crime, Teliko, and helped him to become a better warrior as well one of the Exhuminators. In order to maintain to control his overpower strength, he must carry his Staff of Strength which allows him to maintain his power even he can learn few spells or two.

The gyptian beast known as the Ammuti is the Exhuminators' helping hound who can track footprints and secret passages, sniffing for deathtraps, and attack her foes with sharp teeth and devour it them as she's eating their heart.

* Inspired from Lobotomy's First Person Shooter game, PowerSlave (in Europe, Exhumed.)

* These characters are very resemblance of the villains from DiC Entertainment, Mummies Alive.

* Almutana means "Devourer" which she's almost like Ammut, the Devourer of the Dead and the Eater of Hearts.

The Tablet Purity And Complementarity
Following my previous post and that of other priests concerning The Tablet's editorial on Archbishop Nichols, I have received the following from Father Gregory Charnock, a priest from South Africa whom I had the great pleasure of meeting at the Latin Mass Society Merton College Conference last year. We have kept up an email and telephone correspondence since then. He works in a very challenging parish and I would ask you for your prayers for him and his parish. He has introduced the extraordinary form to his people. Because of poor internet connection, I presume he was unable to put the following as a comment to the post and so he sent it as an email. Here are his comments which I fully endorse.

In view of the wide circulation being given to the Tablet editorial of 8/8/09 and your competent responses, please permit the following additional observation.

In opposing the constant teaching of the Church against artificial contraception, as set forth in Humanae Vitae, the Tablet is no doubt guilty of misleading many of its readers into believing that purity and chastity are somehow no longer the manly, Christian and Catholic values they were universally held to be by all Christians until that Lambeth Conference of +- 1931 left this open to "personal conscience", an unfortunate decision quickly contradicted by the Magisterium of the Catholic Church.

The consequent loss of "respect for the woman" and consideration of her as "a mere instrument of selfish enjoyment" which is now very widespread, were prophesied by Pope Paul VI in paragraph 17 of Humanae Vitae, along with the increase of immorality, and imposition by governments of "solutions" such as we now see in the horrors of the one child policy in China with forced abortions.

The harm done to countless women by the culture of death, by chemical and other contraceptives, as well as by abortion, all fruit of the same rotten tree, amounts to a program of misogynism on the most massive scale ever in human history. The increased unhappiness resulting from divorce is another result.

No, the illusionary "freedom" from restraint offered to men by the (il)liberals of the Tablet is a misogynism which has left us to face the distorted feminism of broken women suffering the consquences of the arrogance of those who still claim to know better (2 Timothy 4:3).

These same people now seek to impose their errors regarding purity and complementarity on the Church, making her very sanctuaries and altars places where this confusion can be exhibited.

The Church does not like sex. She loves it, therefore surrounding it with reverence for the Creator's loving design (one could say procreation not recreation). Similarly, the Church loves women, with reverence and the deepest respect for their unique and complementary roles.

What God Says About Conduct
On this forum it seems many do not regard how they act, I am guilty of losing my cool also. In fact i have gotten so use to people attacking me that when a friend I had just made addressed me in a familiar way I attack them, well imagine my surprise when they were not attacking me. People say things like you need a thick skin, really, on a Christian forum? Do you need to be worldly on a Christian forum? Its unkind is what it is, its not thinking of others. sure I have done it to, but all to often I am attack and find my self defending my self and when I do those same people attacking report me and then guess what, I just fell for the trap. Because that is why people attack you and then report you, its a trap. What do you think God would say about those who lay traps for there brothers and sisters? That is something I have never done and never will. I don't use deceit or cast stones before the feet of my brothers and sisters. But I thought. sense i am like you guilty of losing my cool and setting forest ablaze with my tongue i would look into conduct. How God says we are to treat each other.

The first think I cam across is 1 Peter 3

8 Finally, all of you should be of one mind. Sympathize with each other. Love each other as brothers and sisters.[a] Be tenderhearted, and keep a humble attitude.

9 Dont repay evil for evil. Dont retaliate with insults when people insult you. Instead, pay them back with a blessing. That is what God has called you to do, and he will grant you his blessing. 10 For the Scriptures say,

If you want to enjoy life

and see many happy days,

keep your tongue from speaking evil

and your lips from telling lies.

11 Turn away from evil and do good.

Search for peace, and work to maintain it.

12 The eyes of the Lord watch over those who do right,

and his ears are open to their prayers.

But the Lord turns his face

against those who do evil.[b]

Seems we are not of one mind, or maybe not all who claim God are actually His? We are to test everyone who comes in the name of the Lord with The Word. Do they preach with God Word or against? How do they react to the truth of God's Word? How do they act when shown wrong? do they admit it, do they accept they are wrong? or do they rebel and have pride and arrogance. God hates both pride and arrogance? Proverbs 8:13

13 All who fear the Lord will hate evil.

Therefore, I hate pride and arrogance,

corruption and perverse speech.

I was once attack for a post I did when I was shock by a gay man I was playing a game online with. He was talking about things he wanted to do to other players. People on this very forum attacked me because I was shocked. Now I just found I was correct to be shock as I just found this passage once again. So If people argue for perverse speech are they children of God? Well you can break it down for your self. Are they arguing for God or against. well Here we see it is against. So they are on opposite side arn't they? But one case does not make this as there are exceptions, but when the person time and time again preaches against God's word how can they say they are on the side of God?

Proverbs 6:16

16 There are six things the Lord hates

no, seven things he detests:

a lying tongue,

hands that kill the innocent,

18 a heart that plots evil,

feet that race to do wrong,

19 a false witness who pours out lies,

a person who sows discord in a family.

see that part in bold lets look at that for a min.

Here is the dictionary definition.

adjective, haughtier, haughtiest.

disdainfully proud; snobbish; scornfully arrogant; supercilious:

haughty aristocrats; a haughty salesclerk. (dictionary.com)

lets look at websters.

haugh.ty adjective ho-t, h"a-

: having or showing the insulting attitude of people who think that they are better, smarter, or more important than other people

So wait does insulting people mean your haughty. Well God tells us not to purposely insult people could this be why. I think it is interesting. I am learning here I am Just outlining my journey, you decide for your self.

But you see how proverbs 6:16 fits with 1 peter 8? and that is why we study all the Bible over and over again and write God's Words on our hearts, because we read one thing and see how it fits with another thing said or complement's it. Peter tells us not to insult other and repay insult with insult and then in Proverbs we see God hates these things. See how the New Testament can be traced Back to the Old, and Like wise we can draw from the Old to move forward to the New. God said teacher of religious Law, well I'll post it. Mat 13:52

52 Then he added, Every teacher of religious law who becomes a disciple in the Kingdom of Heaven is like a homeowner who brings from his storeroom new gems of truth as well as old.

Do you see why this is? God is unchanging, what is true in the Old is true in the New, but wait they stoned people, but look to Jesus. Jesus kept all the Law and never once stoned anyone. as Jesus explain many times the Jews had not understood God. Eye for and Eye mean do on to others as you would have done to you. The Golden Rule.

That is why you can not fully Get what God is saying by reading Just the New or just the old as Jesus said the two go together.

Let turn now to James 4 with the heading of drawing close to God.

4 WHAT IS CAUSING THE QUARRELS AND FIGHTS AMONG YOU? DONT THEY COME FROM THE EVIL DESIRES AT WAR WITHIN YOU? 2 You want what you dont have, so you scheme and kill to get it. You are jealous of what others have, but you cant get it, so you fight and wage war to take it away from them. Yet you dont have what you want because you dont ask God for it. 3 And even when you ask, you dont get it because your motives are all wrongyou want only what will give you pleasure.

what does that say about this forum? How many fights go on? and why, Has God not just said why?

James 4:

4 You adulterers![a] Dont you realize that friendship with the world makes you an enemy of God? I say it again: If you want to be a friend of the world, you make yourself an enemy of God. 5 Do you think the Scriptures have no meaning? They say that God is passionate that the spirit he has placed within us should be faithful to him.[b] 6 And he gives grace generously. As the Scriptures say,

God opposes the proud

but gives grace to the humble.[c]

see that, there it is again God hates the proud, gives grace to the humble. what did 1 Peter say? Peter 3:8 Be tenderhearted, and keep a humble attitude. What did proverbs says God hates pride. Let's be clear God does not hate at all when i use that word I am saying reject, how it was meant in Jacob I have Loved and Esau I have hated. More accurate translation Is the Jacob I have accepted and Esau I have rejected. That is closer in the Greek. So God does not hate at all, hate is the opposite of love, if Love is Good then hate is evil. It really is that simple.

James 4:7

7 So humble yourselves before God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you. 8 Come close to God, and God will come close to you. Wash your hands, you sinners; purify your hearts, for your loyalty is divided between God and the world. 9 Let there be tears for what you have done. Let there be sorrow and deep grief. Let there be sadness instead of laughter, and gloom instead of joy. 10 Humble yourselves before the Lord, and he will lift you up in honor.

what does God say about judging? James 4:11

11 Dont speak evil against each other, dear brothers and sisters.[d] If you criticize and judge each other, then you are criticizing and judging Gods law. But your job is to obey the law, not to judge whether it applies to you. 12 God alone, who gave the law, is the Judge. He alone has the power to save or to destroy. So what right do you have to judge your neighbor?

Now lets address this hear. This fits with Romans 14

14 Accept other believers who are weak in faith, and dont argue with them about what they think is right or wrong. 2 For instance, one person believes its all right to eat anything. But another believer with a sensitive conscience will eat only vegetables. 3 Those who feel free to eat anything must not look down on those who dont. And those who dont eat certain foods must not condemn those who do, for God has accepted them. 4 Who are you to condemn someone elses servants? Their own master will judge whether they stand or fall. And with the Lords help, they will stand and receive his approval.

See this is what James is speaking of and what Paul is addressing also. It is the conflict between believers. See how the Books fit? See James says you are judging the Law and you are not to do that. Paul is speaking of the food Laws, do you see?

So those weak in faith should not judge those who are strong in Faith. Like I say it does not matter what day i rest a week just as long as I do and reflect on God. But some Christians may say I must keep Sunday Holy and Jews might say It is Friday sundown to sundown Saturday. It does not matter i keep it in spirit. They need a set day neither is wrong, understand?

lets complete James 4

13 Look here, you who say, Today or tomorrow we are going to a certain town and will stay there a year. We will do business there and make a profit. 14 How do you know what your life will be like tomorrow? Your life is like the morning fogits here a little while, then its gone. 15 What you ought to say is, If the Lord wants us to, we will live and do this or that. 16 Otherwise you are boasting about your own pretentious plans, and all such boasting is evil.

17 Remember, it is sin to know what you ought to do and then not do it.

Also Paul again In Romans reminds us it is a sin if we believe in our hearts it is a sin for us, for us that believe that its a sin. So for those who keep the food Laws or Holy Days, it is a sin for them not to keep them because they believe it is in their hearts. See how the books fit?

James 1:26

26 If you claim to be religious but dont control your tongue, you are fooling yourself, and your religion is worthless. 27 Pure and genuine religion in the sight of God the Father means caring for orphans and widows in their distress and refusing to let the world corrupt you.

So we see controlling our tongue is important.

this is long so I will end with this.

Mat 5:43

43 You have heard the law that says, Love your neighbor[q] and hate your enemy. 44 But I say, love your enemies![r] Pray for those who persecute you! 45 In that way, you will be acting as true children of your Father in heaven. For he gives his sunlight to both the evil and the good, and he sends rain on the just and the unjust alike. 46 If you love only those who love you, what reward is there for that? Even corrupt tax collectors do that much. 47 If you are kind only to your friends,[s] how are you different from anyone else? Even pagans do that. 48 But you are to be perfect, even as your Father in heaven is perfect.

I hope this has been as fruit full for you as it has been for me, and I hope you can see how a person is led by The Holy Spirit through scripture because i very much was through this and outlined it for you. I also hope you can see how the whole Bible fits together.

God Bless

Muslims Wipe Christianity From Face Of Earth
For some reason, the term "wing-nut" come to mind.

This would be funny if it was not so real and dangerous. America of course is being duped by those in the media who want to only talk about all of the supposed "peaceful" Muslims, you know, like the ones in Dearborn that throw rocks, stones and garbage at Christians who peacefully and legally show up at their "festivals". We know for a fact that there are at least 35 Jihadist training camps INSIDE of the United States. We know that mosques in the U.S. help support and fund terrorism around the world. We know Obama bows to them both literally and practically. We are asleep, we are stupid, we are deceived and we are distracted to what is going on around us, blindly trusting our government leaders and media, both of whom capitulate to our enemies and in many cases are the enemy.

A Muslim group has released its plan to "wipe Christianity from the face of the earth," Islamize the West and establish an Islamic system of world government - placing those who resist "under a police state."

The 23-page booklet, "The Global Islamic Civilization: The Power of a Nation Revived," is the brainchild of the United Muslim Nations International, a group led by Sheik Farook al-Mohammedi. The document outlines a plan for Muslim world domination and the re-establishment of the Caliphate. Al-Mohammedi leaves no doubt about his view of Christianity."Christianity should be destroyed and wiped from the face of the earth," al-Mohammedi said. "It is an evil demonic and Anti-Christ system, all Christians are in complete Ignorance."The sheik includes a veiled threat in his remarks."Islamic Power has returned upon the face of the earth and the Revived Global Caliphate has set eyes on the West to once and for all rid the world of Christianity and there is nothing you can do about it," al-Mohammedi said.He makes his objective clear."I have pledged and made a firm promise to the Caliphate of the United Muslim Nations International organization that I will do my utmost to Islamize all of the West within a short period of time," al-Mohammedi said.Al-Mohammedi's views are reflected in the book, which calls on all Muslims to, "listen attentively (to the teaching in the booklet) so they may be able to feel the spirituality of an Islamic revival within themselves and they will be able to achieve the much needed upliftment (sic) and also a means in gaining the closeness of Allah Subahanhu wa-ta' ala."The document is a clear statement on the organization's objective. Page 2 explains that the emergence of an Islamic Caliphate is the ultimate goal of all Muslims."Firstly we will deal with the matter of the Global Islamic Civilization, its honored status, the unrivaled Universal Brotherhood and Sisterhood of the Muslim Ummah," the document states."Islam the only true religion enjoins upon mankind Total Submission to the will of Allah, which means that you are to live a life that is Totally Devoted to the Almighty Allah by serving Him in the manner which He has prescribed for us through the example of the Holy Prophet Mohammed Sallallahu 'Alaihi Wasallam," the booklet said.Al-Mohammedi declares that Western resistance to the worldwide Islamic movement is futile."Today as I breathe the air of our newly found Islamic State of America before my trip this week to Eurabia I leave behind me an Internationalist Islamic Ideology which will be the future of America and Europe Inshallah," he said."None will resist, you will submit! Islam will conquer the hearts of all Christendom, this is a definite reality. Every government has surrendered to the Revived Global Caliphate and those nations who resist will be placed under a police state within their realm."Al-Mohammedi added that non-Muslims have no place in his vision for the world."The Dhimmis have no empire and no right to rule anywhere in the world. Earth belongs to us, all of it," he said.Al-Mohammedi didn't respond to WND's subsequent requests for an interview.WND previously reported that al-Mohammedi complained about WND's reporting and threatened to shut down WND."'If you do not comply then WND and it's (sic) employees will become targets for our UIA agents who will eliminate you within America,' said an email today from Faarooq al Mohammedi, who has said he is working on behalf of a Muslim organization called United Muslim Nations International organization," the WND story said.Islam analyst, WND columnist and Atlas Shrugs publisher Pamela Geller said the document has one aim: global Islamic supremacy."This document is dedicated to a 'revival of Islamic culture,' by which is meant a restoration of 'the Global Islamic Civilization, its honored status, the unrivaled Universal Brotherhood and Sisterhood of the Muslim Ummah,'" Geller said. She also noted that the booklet is completely in line with the stated goals of the Muslim Brotherhood."This refers, of course, to the restoration of the caliphate, the pan-national unity of the Muslims (which is also the goal of the Muslim Brotherhood)," she said.Geller added that even though there are references to personal faithfulness in the document, it's really a battle cry."So while the document speaks largely of matters of individual piety, marriage law, etc., it actually amounts to a call to warfare against and subjugation of non-Muslims under the Sharia," Geller said. She added, "In Islamic law only the caliph is authorized to declare and wage offensive jihad against infidel states. If the caliphate is restored, the present jihads worldwide will look like a time of peace compared to the wars that will be unleashed."American Enterprise Institute Middle East analyst Michael Rubin agreed, confirming, "the document is very much in line with jihadi philosophy."Islam analyst and Jihad Watch publisher Robert Spencer noted, "The document is pretty standard. However, it's somewhat incoherently presented."

Divine Alchemy Of The Sacred Soul

"(PRESIDENT OF INDIA, 1962 - 67)"

We all want to know why we are here. What is our mission in life? The people who know it are easy to spot; their lives shine with meaning. Their perception of their life's purpose gives them the strength to live through the rough times as well as to enjoy the good. Many people, however, are confused ~ or completely in the dark ~ about their reason for living.

This lack of self~understanding and direction is a health problem itself, in a sense, for it can lead to all sorts of emotional stress, including depression, anxiety, and fatigue. When these stresses or negative emotions become entrenched, they can contribute to the development of illness. It's not only our mind that wants to know our mission ~ this knowledge is vitally important to our body and spirit as well. Lack of knowledge of our mission can become a destructive force in our relationships; we can hurt others around us as well as ourselves. If we don't have a clear sense of how to see the bigger picture when things go wrong, we are not able to respond appropriately to events or people.

From a cosmically practical point of view, we live in a world filled with many souls who have no idea whatsoever why they are here or what they are supposed to be doing. The absence of spiritual and emotional orientation have become epidemic. The further we stray from our true mission in life, the more frustrated we become, and the more out of sync our energy will be. However, by knowing your mission, you can live your life in ways that makes best use of your energy. When you are working well with your energy, you are also creating the best expression of your personal power. You are living in accord with your Sacred Contract.

In the process of awakening, you inevitably identify the patterns of thoughts and beliefs that you have used to interpret yourself and the world. These interpretations have become cellular memories and carry the emotional energy charge that affects your biography and consequently your biology. In detecting the emotional charge in your biography, you can begin to see how the fragments of your history have worked together in ways that have affected your past, your present, and the state of your health. This has become known as symbolic sight"," and enables you to get back your energy or spirit and heal emotionally, spiritually, and sometimes even physically. It is also an important method of working with your energy to bring your Sacred Contract into focus.

Our overall energy patterns are reflected in our individual cells, our individual souls also hum actively within a kind of global soul comprising all life on the planet. Our words, thoughts, deeds, and visions influence our individual health just as they affect the health of everyone around us. As vital parts of a larger, universal Spirit, we each have been put here on earth to fulfill a Sacred Contract that enhances our personal spiritual growth while contributing to the evolution of the entire global soul.

However, our life's mission, or Contract, cannot be defined or measured simply by our external life alone. Your purpose is not only your career, hobbies, or romantic relationship. A Contract is your overall relationship to to your personal power and your spiritual power. It is how you work with your energy and whom you give it to. It is also how much you are willing to surrender to divine guidance. Although a Contract is not the physical details of your life, you can use these details to figure out what your Contract is.

Some of the ways that energy works is that it organizes itself around our emotional centers, or chakras. Yet an organizing principle even greater than the interplay of the chakras is shaping the energy within each of us ~ and shaping our lives as it does so. Universal forms of cosmic intelligence known as archetypal patterns populate our minds and lives in ways that affect us deeply. Though we are generally unaware of these patterns of archetypes, they are shared in many people's thoughts and emotions, across cultures and countries.

Archetypes are the architects of our lives. The energy of the archetype and its manifestations in our psyches and lives is so pervasive and intimate that no part of our lives exists separately from at least one archetypal pattern. Usually no fewer than twelve are our constant companions.

Although the way you express your archetypes is unique to you, these energies correspond to the archetypes of other people in your life. They interact. These psychological, emotional patterns ~ how we live and whom we love ~ can lead us to a profound understanding of purpose. Carl Jung believed that archetypes live in a collective unconscious through which all souls are connected. The collective unconscious holds the energy of all who have participated in an archetype through the ages ~ stories, myths, legends, and prototypes. They are the energy companions through whom we can learn to understand ourselves.

The language of this process is one of spiritual alchemy. With it we'll learn to transform heavy physical relationships and emotions into spiritual gold. We manage our Contracts, but the Divine takes care of the Sacred.

Putting God And The Gospel First
Two Trevin Wax items this morning. First, an appreciative review of his recent book, "Counterfeit Gospels: Rediscovering the Good News in a World of False Hope". The review includes this summary of the "gospels" too often substituted for the Gospel:

* The "therapeutic gospel" corrupts the Gospel Story by redefining the problem the Gospel solves, making it about me and my felt needs rather than about God's remedy to restore a fallen creation.

* The "judgmentless gospel" corrupts the Gospel Story by redefining the Story's conclusion, downplaying the seriousness of sin and evil and God's commitment to put the world to rights.

* The "moralistic gospel" corrupts the Gospel Announcement by replacing Good News with good advice and making it about the works we do rather than about what Christ did in our stead and on our behalf.

* The "quietist gospel" corrupts the Gospel Announcement, which is a public announcement of Christ's triumph over all the powers of sin, evil, and death, by turning it into privatized religious experience.

* The "activist gospel" corrupts the Gospel Community by turning the church into a mission that is more concerned about causes than about Christ, confusing the effects of the Gospel with the Gospel itself.

* The "churchless gospel" corrupts the Gospel Community by making membership and involvement in a community of believers optional or even by viewing participation in a church as detrimental to my own personal spiritual formation.

In each chapter, Wax gives reasons as to why each counterfeit is so attractive to people, and some suggestions as to how we might "counter the counterfeit" by living in the light of the true Gospel..... [more]And second, an article by Trevin Wax himself about evangelical worship, "Steak on a Paper Plate: Serious Worship in a Casual World":

.... One of the core values of many an evangelical church is the effort to put everyone at ease. "Good morning," says the minister or worship leader. Then comes the inevitable: "Let's try that again, GOOD MORNING!" There's a chatty, street-level style of worship that has become prevalent in evangelicalism. And it's not clear that your pursuit of casual novelty in worship meshes well with hearing the Word of God set forth in all its glory.

Can a contemporary, casual service bring worshipers face to face with the glory of God in a way that buttresses and upholds the magnificent truths being expounded from the Word? I think the answer is yes, but not always.....

When it comes to worship, we're frequently told that form doesn't matter. Style is not what's important. I get that. I'm not belittling contemporary music or advocating a return to liturgy, organs, and hymns. Cultural forms adjust and adapt, and some contemporary worship services have thrown me to my knees before the holiness and majesty of God. The issue isn't "formal" versus "informal," casual clothes versus Sunday best, traditional versus contemporary.

The problem is not with casual worship styles, but with "casually worshiping" God in whatever style.....

Form and content are rarely easy to separate. They mirror one another. A church with serious Bible preaching will generally have a serious worship service (contemporary or traditional, formal or informal, but "serious"). A church with a feel-good preacher will generally have peppy, feel-good music.

Christians need to sense the weight of God's glory, the truths of God's Word, the reality of coming judgment, and the gloriousness of God's grace..... [more]IM Book Review: Counterfeit Gospels internetmonk.com, Steak on a Paper Plate: Serious Worship in a Casual World

This is an empty vessel. You may purchase it for the metaphysical properties, order an Otherworld Entity through my store, or have an Otherworld Entity transferred into this pendant.

This vessel has been Activated 9 Times and has 54 hours of work. The spell that Activates the stone links the energy from Mother Earth into the stone. This stone will draw in energy every single day, and the energy will get stronger over the years. This energy from Mother Earth magnifies the metaphysical properties found at the bottom of this listing. You get faster results with Activated pendants than without.

This is a 925 Sterling Silver Jasper pendant. This stone has beautiful bands of reds in a natural interesting pattern. The pendant is moderate in 925 Sterling Silver. It is well created and will last a lifetime.

This pendant measures 38 mm X 22 mm X 5 mm, which includes the bale. The bale will accommodate up to a 5 mm cord or chain. It weighs 6.55 grams.

When I hold this pendant I feel the sweet energy from the stone. I feel my muscles relax, I don't worry about what is coming in the future, but I live in the moment. Worrying about the future will rob me of the joy I can feel at this moment in time. This stone feels like a hug from Mother Earth, and I know everything will be okay. This is how my body interprets the energy and your body may interpret it differently.

What is even better than this powerful vessel? Purchase a new Custom Bound Otherworld Entity through Spirit Realm at a low price or transfer an Entity from your collection for free.

Did you know you can get a Custom Bound Otherworld Entity for as little as 45? I dont use binding boxes, or bind against the spirits will! You will get a willing Otherworld Entity selected for you by my Watcher. She has selected the perfect spirit for my customers for the last year. Shes an expert! See my store for details or email me.

Or if you have a sluggish beloved Otherworld Entity, maybe the energy from this stone combined with the Activation spells can give them the boost they need.

Or if you have a beloved Otherworld Entity that needs to be rehomed. I will transfer your Otherworld Entity into this vessel at no cost. Yes, I said that....NO COST.

If you would like your Otherworld Entity transferred to this vessel, I will do that free of charge. Unlike other sellers, I dont charge extra for spirit transfers when you purchase the vessel from me. (I will not transfer Demons or any Demonic Creatures.)

Please note: If you mail me your Otherworld Entity, the package must be insured and require my signature for pick-up.

Otherworld Entities thrive on Activated vessels and customers have reported positive results from Activated vessels.

This Activation spell will last forever with proper care. Please dont immerse this vessel into water, expose it to chemicals, or expose it to extended sunlight. You can wear it in the sun, I dont advise that you leave it in direct sunlight for hours upon hours.

Does this mean my spells arent water-proof? No. The elements can drain the energy from the vessel. Water, fire, sun, earth...any type of these element can drain the vessel of energy. They can be cleansing, but they can be too cleansing. If you need to quickly rinse the vessel or do a deep cleaning with baking soda and water...thats fine, it wont destroy the spell, but it will need to be charged in a charging box.

Want to take a swim with your Otherworld Entity? Your Entity is not restricted to the vessel as it acts as a portal for them, or a place of entry into this world. They dont live in the vessel, as they have a home, family, and jobs in the Otherworld.

They use this portal to get to you quickly. Once you have bonded, and you arent wearing the vessel, they may take a few more minutes to find you, but they will find you. You build an ethereal connection when bonding, and they can follow that connection to find you.

So if you want them to swim with you, it isnt necessary to wear the vessel. This doesnt mean my spells arent water-proof, you just deplete their energy stores when they are exposed to chemicals, water, and sun. They may feel sluggish and you may have difficulty contacting them. In this case you may need to recharge them for a week or two with candles and food.

Taking the time to remove your vessels from showers, cleaning, or using the restroom (rings) shows respect and reverence for your Otherworld Entities.

If you want Otherworld Entities to be the most effective they can be, please dont treat their vessels like jewelry. They need attention, respect, reverence, care, feeding, bonding, and time with you. If you work to cultivate a relationship, you will be rewarded greatly.

Misuse may weaken the spell and it may need to be recharged for a few weeks with a charging box.

If you need to clean it use a silver polishing cloth. In instances of severe tarnish you can use a paste of baking soda and water. Please use this method sparingly. Scrub with a toothbrush and rinse well. Charge for a week to revitalize the vessel.

I have included a triple charged charging bag. This bag will remove any negative energy and help recharge the vessel. You can place the vessel in this bag when you need to charge the vessel. This bag cant be washed. It is advised that this bag is placed in a container, drawer, or box to prevent dust from collecting on the bag. This bag may also be used to cleanse and recharge pendulums, stones, or any other small items. This bag will never need to be charged under the light of the moon, and the spell will be effective forever with proper use and care. Some Otherworld Entities may need a deeper charging and cleansing with a charging box. It depends on the spirit and the number of tasks you have assigned.

As always, there is free shipping and insurance for all of my items sold within the United States. If you live outside of the US, I will provide free shipping without insurance. If you would like your package insured outside of the US, please contact me.

Magickal items are unlike the magickal items portrayed in Hollywood movies or in fairy tales. If you would like to depend on magickal items to solve your problems without any effort on your part, you will be disappointed.

Magickal items are not for the under-aged or the immature. Wrong attitudes and applying magickal items inappropriately would simply result in failure or unsatisfactory results. If you fall into one of these categories or do not believe in the power of this magickal item, then please don't purchase!

Law requirement states that Readings, Spells and paranormal objects are for sole entertainment purposes only. This vessel must also be classified for entertainment purposes only.

According to Love is in the Earth by Melody:

Properties, additional to those listed in the Chalcedony section, of this book, are listed below.

This mineral is known as the "Supreme Nurturer". It acts as a reminder that one is not here, on this physical plane, just for oneself, but is also here to bring joy and substance to others, assisting others to release the bonds of constraint.

It is conducive to awareness and to allowing one to celebrate situations of isolation. It helps one to realize that one is always remembered by others who can, usually be called upon to provide insight to examples of those who send loving energy toward ones physical manifestations.

Jasper was often worn by shaman to provide protection. It holds an aspect of solar energy and a connection to the solar plexus chakra which also helped shaman in their magical practices. It was considered a sacred stone during the performance of, and adherence to, the "old ways" of the Native American Indians. The jasper which contains the yellow color was used to assist and protect during times of travel (spiritual or physical); that which contains the red color was thought to induce health and re-birth, bringing freshness in ideas and strategies to the holder. The jasper containing the blue color was used to connect one with the "after" worlds.

It is a stone which accepts intense responsibility in the realm of protection. It protects against negativity and helps one to be grounded to the stabilizing energies of the Earth.

Jasper can be used to align the energy of the chakras and to integrate the attributes of the chakras such that astral journeys can be affected.

It balances the yin-yang energy and balances the physical emotional and intellectual bodies with etheric energies.

It stabilizes the aura, providing for a cleansing effect to smooth dysfunctional energies and to eliminate negativity. It helps one to unite the energy field of the physical with the ethereal in order to balance the form and to direct one toward the goal.

The ancients revered jasper as sacred, protective, and as a facilitator of safe astral travel.

It has also been used during the venture of dowsing.

Jasper has been both worn and used by priests and kings. It is said to have been one of the stones used in the breastplate of the high priest.

Jasper is also a sustaining stone, a stone representing the elemental "man". It can be quite helpful in times of extended hospitalization and when ones energy is low. On a long fast, it can help to keep ones energy high.

Jasper can be used in the treatment of tissue deterioration of the internal organs, and for disorders of the kidneys, spleen, bladder, liver, and stomach - the energy is more appropriate for deterioration, rather than the actual state of malfunction. Jasper can be used to treat the loss of sense of smell. It has been reported to soothe the nerves.

It can also help with balancing the mineral content and with the regulation of the supplies of iron, sulfur, zinc, and manganese within the body.

It can also be used to affect nutritional stabilization within the body, to improve the digestive processes and related organs, and to assist in the elimination of toxins leading to the decrease in body odor and dis-ease.

According to The Crystal Bible by Judy Hall

Jasper is known as the "supreme nurturer". It sustains and supports during times of stress, and bring tranquility and wholeness. Used in healing, it unifies all aspects of your life. Jasper reminds people to help each other.

Jasper aligns the chakras and can be used in chakra layouts. Each color is appropriate to a specific chakra. This stone facilitates shamanic journeys and dream recall. It provides protection and ground energies and the body. It absorbs negative energy and cleanses and aligns the chakras and the aura. Jasper balances in and yang and aligns the physical emotional, and mental bodies with the etheric realm. It clears electromagnetic and environmental pollution, including radiation, and aids dowsing.

Psychologically, Jasper imparts determination to all pursuits. It brings the courage to get to grips with problems assertively, and encourages honesty within yourself. It supports during necessary conflict.

Mentally Jasper aids quick thinking, and promotes organizational abilities and seeing projects through. It stimulates the imagination and transforms ideas into action.

Physically Jasper prolongs sexual pleasure. It supports during prolonged illness or hospitalization and reenergizes the body.

Orbicular Jasper (Ocean Jasper) supports service, assists in accepting responsibility and instilling patience. Its circular markings resonate with circular breathing, which it facilitates. It eliminates the toxins that cause unpleasant body odor.

Mookaite (Australian Jasper) provides a useful balance between inner and outer experiences. It imparts both a desire for new experiences and a deep calm with which to face them. Flexible Mookaite encourages versatility. It points out all possibilities and assists in choosing the right one. Mookaite is a physically stabilizing stone that fortifies the immune system, heals wounds, and purifies the blood.

Red Jasper

It has been used to assist one in rectifying unjust circumstances; meditation with this mineral can provide insight to the method of amelioration. The energy communicates the message that all choice is singularly ones responsibility. It can also assists in providing for rescue in situations of danger.

Red Jasper can facilitate the reiteration of dreams to allow the dreamer to remember the aspects which could be consequential in ones life. It seems to replicate the dream on a video-type mechanism for access during states of meditation.

It can also be used to prevent "set-backs" in disorders. The mineral assists in healing one to learn to progress, and to eliminate the aspects of digression.

Announcing The 2012 Get Off Your Broom A New Year Fitness Challenge
The first ever Get Off Your Broom: A Witchy Fitness Challenge was so successful that I would like to invite you to the next round which is called the Get Off Your Broom: A New Year's Witchy Fitness Challenge!

I created this fitness challenge because I realized there are probably plenty of of other pagans, witches, and Wiccans out there that are struggling to get in shape too. We need to support each other! I call the fitness challenge "get off your broom" because as witches and pagans, we need to get off our brooms (metaphorically of course) and exercise!

I had no idea if I would gain any interest in the first ever Get Off Your Broom: A Witchy Fitness Challenge so imagine my delightful surprise when 160 people signed up! God/dess bless all of you!

However, I started the challenge at a very odd time of the year. Not many people start a fitness routine and diet at the beginning of October. Because this next round starts on the first of the year, I am hoping for even more people to sign up than last time. It will last 3 months just like the first challenge did.

Check-ins will be on Sunday when the new round starts.

The informational page and where you sign up has changed. DO NOT SIGN UP ON THIS POST!

I have moved sign ups HERE to a separate page on the Get Off Your Broom blog which can be found at the top of the sidebar. If you want to share the link for the challenge, please use that link. You can also click on the Get Off Your Broom: A New Year's Witchy Fitness Challenge banner and it will take you to the sign up page.

A recap all the information about the New Year's round of Get Off Your Broom: A Witchy Fitness Challenge and the sign ups will be found HERE! However, if you have any questions, comments, or suggestions feel free to leave them in the comments on this post.

Pearl Dust

This came via email by an "Anglican Friend of God":

An anonymous commentator calling himself 'Father' writes the following on the Anglo-Catholic blog:

It seems to boil down to what one thinks the Anglican patrimony consists. The anti-AC-cabal seems to think Rome wants to annihilate this patrimony. But what is this patrimony they so desire to maintain? I don't think I'm a lone Anglican voice in expressing that the dearest patrimonies are:

1. The AV

2. The Coverdale Psalter

3. "Cranmerina" English

(Some might add membership to the country club.)

What else of our unique Anglican identity does not Rome already embrace?

What an astonishing reduction. The Anglican patrimony consists of a prose style and nothing more: perhaps not even the "Book of Common Prayer"!

The sad thing is that 'Father' probably has gained little more from the Anglicanism which he claims as his own. We fear that 'Father' is not apt to learn, but we will try nonetheless, if only to help some of those who might find themselves reading this.

What is the Anglican patrimony? Here are some parts of an answer.

1. George Herbert. The piety and devotion and art of Herbert are distinctively Anglican. The superiority of Herbert's inspiration can be seen by comparing him to another priest-poet, Richard Crashaw, who preceded the TAC down the Anglican-to-Rome trail by about four centuries. Crashaw's poetry is baroque and empurpled, full of Counter-Reformation piety and questionable taste. Yet for all Crashaw's uninhibited, Catholic sensibility, his verse is much less inventive than Herbert's in form, in vocabulary, and in imagination. Most readers who spend time with both poets will agree that Herbert is Crashaw's superior in almost every respect. Crashaw stands for a hothouse kind of devotion and piety which flourish in the Roman Catholic world and not in Anglicanism. Herbert stands for the restrained, but nonetheless deeply felt and deeply moving, faith of Anglicanism at its best, and for all the art inspired thereby. Take Herbert as a synecdoche for a large swathe of our patrimony in poetry, music, architecture, and literature.

2. An emphasis on a strong and achievable lay piety. Roman Catholicism tended to develop a bifurcated piety and morality, with one set of standards for the clergy (the Counsels of Perfection; mandatory clerical celibacy; a Daily Office not realistically open to busy layfolk; etc.) and another for the laity (many rules stating minimum obligations below which the laity were not to fall; concessions to the lower capacities of laity; emphasis on avoidance of sin rather lay sanctity). The Prayer Book and Anglicanism in general set a more uniform standard, which at its best embraces a kind of integrated, Benedictine vision of work and prayer and family life. Any Anglican layman can say the Prayer Book Offices, find a realistic model for his life in the clergy, and believe that he is fulfilling the whole duty of man rather than pursuing a second-class vocation. The bifurcated piety and morality of old Roman Catholicism are now out of fashion, but still can be seen in the rank clericalism of Roman parish life and of the Roman bureaucracies.

3. Anglican rectory life. English life and civilization and Anglican life in general are heavily influenced by the clerical home and are enriched by the children of rectories and vicarages. (See previous point for a related idea.) Think, say, of Jane Austen as the product of a rectory. Or think of the 'high priestly' clans: the Knoxes, the Temples, the Bensons. Or, taking another path to the same conclusion, since Mr. Arabin did not topple over into the pool of Rome in the end, think of his domestic life with Eleanor Harding Bold - and think of the children they undoubtedly had and of what those children undoubtedly achieved.

4. The sermons of Lancelot Andrewes. The devotion and piety of Andrewes include an avoidance of sterile theological debate, an embrace of the Fathers, a deeply sacramental and emblematic view of the world, and an eschewal of doctrinal innovation. There are of course fine Roman Catholic sermons (think Bossuet) - but nothing approaching Andrewes in English.

5. A conservative but not fundamentalist theological spirit. An irenic temper that can be found, but not commonly, among Roman Catholic theologians. A strong theory of "adiaphora" without doctrinal reductionism. A contrary spirit of innovation seems to be at work everywhere in the Roman Catholic Church these days. Forget the doctrine of the papal office itself, or the Marian doctrines, or even the proposed enormity of our Lady as the Mediatrix of All Grace. The spirit of innovation is evident in much simpler and more easily understood matters. What Church Father gives support for girl acolytes, female lectors, meat on Fridays, or lay administration of Holy Communion? Yet Rome permits such things and many similar.

6. Auden. Eliot. Ken. Law. Swift. Mascall. Trollope. Donne. Hooker. C.S. Lewis. Dorothy Sayers. Charles Williams "The English Hymnal". Kenneth Kirk. Austin Farrer. English cathedral and collegiate choirs. Gothic Revival. Etc., etc.

7. Or since an Anglo-papalist asks the question, we might explain the Anglican patrimony by thinking how very little is left to the Roman Catholic Church in the English-speaking world once you subtract the Anglican converts: Cardinal Newman and Cardinal Manning; S. Elizabeth Seton; G.M. Hopkins; Crashaw; Ronald Knox; Father Faber; G.K. Chesterton; Evelyn Waugh. Etc., etc.

Need we go on?

- "Theophilus Anglicanus"

"The silly comment that he has answered so well with this list (not exhaustive, not meant to be) expresses the level of understanding we expect to see on that blog. It is very easy to throw away a treasure if one does not recognize it, or to discard something for which one has never worked. Understanding the riches we have does take some work, reading and learning. We cannot understand the lack of appreciation by those who speak of a "450 year-old experiment...[that] has failed," or who define Anglicanism as "English culture." No wonder they think AC is meant to preserve Anglican riches - they haven't got a clue.

Homily For The First Saturday Of Great Lent 1 Of 2

By St. Symeon the New Theologian

Brethren and fathers,

What we are about to say we ought to have addressed to your charity last Sunday. I was aware, however, that every one of us believers, [together with] the whole Christian people, both monks and laity, with fervent zeal accepts the blessing of fasting in the holy first week of Lent, and that each one of us willingly puts its yoke upon its neck (Sir. 51:26). Even among those who greatly despair of their own salvation and live their lives without fear and reverence for God there is no one who rejects the law of fasting in that week. Rather, as far as he is able, he joins with all in observing abstinence. So I come today to speak a few short words to you about the present season.

As we have said, all the faithful people spend the first week of Lent, which is now past, in a strenuous manner. But now that it has passed and Saturday has arrived, it falls to the lot of the Church of God to celebrate, in accordance with tradition, the feast of the great martyr Saint Theodore, or rather, the extraordinary act of salvation that God wrought through him for His most faithful people. Likewise on Sunday we all make commemoration of the Orthodox Faith and sing hymns of thanksgiving to God, who is all-good. But the evil one, who is always envious of goodness, secretly steals up on each of the faithful and invisibly puts on him the chains of slackness and carelessness. He persuades him to despise and reject the salutary yoke of fasting ("cf." Ps. 2:3) and to return to his former habits. Therefore I remind you today and make my appeal to your charity, your paternity, that you do not in any way obey him who wills you ill. Do not be led astray by the bad habit of insatiable gluttony, nor turn back to the old [habit of] satisfaction of evil desires. Rather, let us keep this second week of Lent like the first, and likewise the remainder [of the season].

Indeed, my fathers and brethren, let us act for our own good by so doing, and let us not allow ourselves to lose what we have gathered together in the past, but rather let us strive to add to it and increase it. Let us not miserably allow what we have built up in times past to be destroyed ("cf." Gal. 2:18). Let each one of us keep in mind the benefit of fasting and what gifts from God he has enjoyed in these few days and so become more eager for the days to come. For this healer of our soul is effective, in the case of one to quieten the fevers and impulses of the flesh, in another to assuage bad temper, in yet another to drive away sleep, in another to stir up zeal, and in yet another to restore purity of mind and to set him free from evil thoughts. In one it will control his unbridled tongue and, as it were by a bit (Jas. 3:3, 8), restrain it by the fear of God and prevent it from uttering idle or corrupt words (Eph. 4:29; Mt. 12:36). In another it will invisibly guard his eyes and fix them on high instead of allowing them to roam hither and thither, and thus cause him to look on himself and teach him to be mindful of his own faults and shortcomings. Fasting gradually disperses and drives away spiritual darkness and the veil of sin that lies on the soul, just as the sun dispels the mist. Fasting enables us spiritually to see that spiritual air in which Christ, the Sun who knows no setting, does not rise, but shines without ceasing. Fasting, aided by vigil, penetrates and softens hardness of heart. Where once were the vapors of drunkenness it causes fountains of compunction to spring forth. I beseech you, brethren, let each of us strive that this may happen in us! Once this happens we shall readily, with God's help, cleave through the whole sea of passions and pass through the waves of the temptations inflicted by the cruel tyrant, and so come to anchor in the port of impassibility.

The Siddhis Psychic Realms
Clairvoyance and Clairaudience

These words imply the ability to 'see' or hear psychically. There are

spiritists who claim the ability to see spirit guides and souls. Once again

discrimination should be employed. Use your own standards to judge

Magickal Links and Psychic Attack

A psychic link between an object and an individual (as in psychometry)

can be used for magickal purposes - according to shamans and wizards

of past and present. For this reason such things as nail clippings, hair

and bodily secretions have always been regarded as things which

should be carefully disposed of. Paranoia creeps in here. Remember that

a person calling herself or himself a wizard or a witch does not mean she

or he is one.

In our experience genuine 'psychic attack' is an exceedingly rare

A way of moving objects by the power of the mind or by psychic means.

Much in the news in the last decade because of the tricks of Uri Geller

and other forkbenders. Remember that skilled conjurors are capable of

producing effects which seem to baffle the mind and defy explanation.

If such things were possible there would be no need for governments to

spend millions of pounds on weapon technology. This point also applies

to other psychic 'abilities'

This is the ability to pick up information psychically from objects. This

is sometimes extended to include photographs or pictures of people or

places. Every object is said to somehow 'soak up' psychic emanations. If

such an object has been in close proximity with an individual it may

have a field surrounding it or permeating it which reflects that of its

Astral Travel

This is a very popular subject, and there are many books relating to it.

However it is important to be sure that you have the same understanding

of the term as the author. What is called out of the body experience

or Astral Travel by psychics and experimenters is often confused with

the process of creative imagination practised by the Golden Dawn and

other modern western magickal orders.

We talk here about Out Of the Body Experience related to what

psychics often term the 'etheric' body. This is considered by many to be

a simulacrum of the physical body existing in a subtle form, and attached

to the physical body by a subtle cord

Many ancient traditions aver that individuals have a field of psychic

energy capable of being discerned by sensitive individuals. However

this subject too suffers from too much literature and not enough

practical experimentation.

Beware of literature which gives 'pat' meanings to aura colours.

Every individual differs

Bioenergy, life-energy, Chi or whatever term given refers to the subtle

energy which seems to mark the difference between a corpse and a

living human being. This energy seems to be of a fluidic nature and can

be blocked in its passage by muscular or mental blocks.
