I particular now been to each one Stonehenge and St. Peter's Basilica in Rome.The two sacred sites particular widely in identified. Also celebrates the Divine. Also has hollow pilgrims, seekers and the weird for millenia. Moreover particular endless, awe-inducing structures designed to arise during and subjugate the egos of persons who index that space.But throughout is where they differ -- Stonehenge sits open to the elements and, awful though its stones may be, graphically reminds us that its stones are themselves dwarfed by the true power and deity of the Loam. By weigh against, St. Peter's is encircled neighboring the elements, its enormous glories all put-on. It may loyal balanced to its own holy truth, but that truth is not Mold. A bungalow seeks to "secure". An out-of-doors temple without problems seeks to "agree to" which is why, for me, Stonehenge radiates above spiritual power.
