Impire's multiplayer modes, now officially out of Beta for both PvP and co-op play, have gained new game types:
* HELL ON WHEELS: players must help their demonic forces escort a wagon into the enemy base, while preventing rival players from doing the same to them.
* SURVIVAL: Co-op mode where demons protect their own unit from incoming heroes while attempting to build power.
Impire also adds a host of new options for gameplay and demon design, including new runes with different powers, new ways to customize and evolve Bal-Abaddon, and new game settings options that allow easier management of those pesky heroes' ladders.
For those not yet acquainted with the sordid tale of Bal-Abaddon in Impire, the game is available at a wicked discount right now through Steam's "Midweek Madness" sale. Impire puts players in the nasty little hooves of a world-conquering demon - summoned by a bumbling sorcerer and trapped in the form of a pathetic imp as his servant. Through cunning plans and ruthless destruction, Bal must build a dungeon to raise his armies, fend off invading heroes, and dispatch his minions to do his bidding.
A live stream will allow gamers to scry upon the fiendish acts of game producer Joe Fricano as he hosts a live stream of Impire tomorrow.
