Apparently Narnia is experiencing a bit of a revival thanks to Hollywood. I love CS Lewis's books and my wife and I have recently reread most of the Narnia series. In Oxford we visited his house and even considered living in it for a while. But it was a bit out of the way, so instead I just drank ale at the pub where he, JRR Tolkien and some other buddies used to meet to share their stories with each other.
Last week we gave The Lion the Witch and the Wardrobe to Delato our night guard to read. He loves to read, but books are shockingly expensive here (like 30USD for a paperback), so he doesn't have much to read. Since it is a children's book we figured the book wouldn't be too difficult for him.
He seems to be enjoying it, but he is kind of upset about all of the magic in the book. He is Christian, and in Malawi this means rejecting ideas of magic, witches, spells and the like. Of course the irony is that Narnia is a thinly veiled Christian allegory, and Lewis is one of the greatest Christian theologians ever (check out Mere Christianity). Aslan represents Jesus, and Aslan sacrifices himself to atone for Edward's wrongdoing. But I am afraid that Delato doesn't see this - he just sees a story about a magic talking Lion battling evil witches. He probably heard similar stories growing up in his village, but with warnings about so and so village being where the witch lives or "that is why you must never kill a Lion". In fact, Temwa (Claudia's colleague) recently had to cancel her holiday because her niece has been accused of being a witch. Temwa has to go to the village to support her niece, and prove that her niece isn't a witch. Temwa (Aslan?) says that often it is the accusers of witchcraft that are the witches themselves, and she aims to confront them.
In other words you can't mix Christian concepts of redemption with talking animals and good magic without really confusing Malawians. It will be interesting to talk to Delato after he finishes it and determine if he noticed any of the Christian themes.

We do not do anything about our own justification. That is a declaration from God based on the atoning work of Jesus on the cross. We can't do anything about glorification, because it is the Creator who makes us our new bodies. But sanctification... we engage "with "the Spirit in the process.
The bible says we are to pursue sanctification earnestly. In the practical, this means, do we pray ceaselessly? Do we walk closely with Jesus? Do we repent to Him of our sins? Do we study diligently? The more we put in, the more we are sanctified.

Even after all these years, accupuncture looks like it's doing "something", but scientists still aren't quite sure what.

But doesn't the Catholic Church also teach that you can be healed by prayer? What makes Reiki different?

I did even more digging around the Dominion of Melchizedek's website and found a small, almost hidden link at the bottom of the Constitution page that takes you to an online listing of all the names of the individuals who hold a position within this "government" body.
One of the "Elders" in their Legislative Branch is listed as "The Honorable Sean David Morton." Immediately, I knew that name rang a bell although I couldn't quite place it. So, off to Google it was to type in the name to see what came up.
Let me just say that if this is the same person then we're definitely on to something here, and the upcoming "Return of the Ancestors" event next weekend is connected.
Why do I say that? Because SEAN DAVID MORTON is the famous "natural psychic, trained Remote Viewer, intuitive consultant, investigative reporter, and accomplished award winning director, screenwriter and film and TV producer, and he is also Managing Trustee of the Prophecy Research Institute" popularized by the COAST TO COAST AM nationally syndicated radio show.
Sean uses his talents and abilities to predict future occurrences and trends such as Earth changes, political events, and stock market fluctuations. He has an astounding "hit rate" they say, or percentage of successes (of course, we know that if he were a true "prophet" he would not only be correct 100% of the time, but he would always direct us to our Lord in the process). My favorite part of his bio? The part that ties together so nicely with the entire so-called "Alien/UFO" agenda we've been looking at within the context of the coming Great Deception:

Seriously, what are the odds of all this? How many other "Sean David Morton's" are there in the world? I mean, even if this isn't the same man, what are the odds that his career path and belief system would mirror they same fundamental principles and belief systems of the other two groups we look at in connection with Melchizedek today? That's the question I keep asking myself, and that's why I have to conclude that this is all connected (until we can prove otherwise).
Still, there was one other important piece to this saga. In November 2003, Morton was in Egypt shooting a big budget documentary he wrote and starred in called "The Prophecy of the Pyramid" about the spiritual purpose of the Great Pyramid and how it may hold a timeline of all the events in human history both past and future.
This is intriguing because my research also found a connection between the Biblical figure Melchizedek, the pyramids of Egypt, and Biblical prophecy!
There are some who believe that Melchizedek was the one who oversaw the building of the Great Pyramid in Egypt. You've probably heard about or seen this theory before, but there are some "Pyramidologists" who claim that the GREAT PYRAMID OF GIZA has encoded within it predictions for the Exodus of Moses from Egypt, the crucifixion of Jesus, the start of World War I, the founding of modern-day Israel in 1948, and future events including the beginning of Armageddon; discovered by using what they call "PYRAMID INCHES" (infrequently called the sacred Jewish inch; supposedly it was one twenty-fifth of a "sacred cubit," which will resonate with readers of David Flynn's "Temple At The Center Of Time" bestseller as well as Patrick Heron's latest work) to calculate the passage of time (one British inch = one solar year).

Whatever you believe about these ancient structures that defy human logic and understanding, I'm always drawn to what CHARLES TAZE RUSSELL, a Protestant minister from Pittsburgh Pennsylvania, believed when he coined phrase that the pyramid was the Bible in stone." Of course, that's only if I decide to have any opinion of it all. Russell believed that the Great Pyramid of Giza was part of God's Divine Plan basing his interpretation on a passage of Scripture in Isaiah 19:19-20 that reads, "In that day shall there be an altar (PILE OF STONES) to the LORD in the midst of the land of Egypt, and a pillar (HEBREW "MATSTSEBAH" OR MONUMENT) at the border ther to the Lord. And it shall be for a sign, and for a witness unto the LORD of Hosts in the land of Egypt." (notes added).
However, it should be noted that Russell's successor, JOSEPH F. RUTHERFORD denounced Pyramidology in 1928 as not only unscriptural, but inspired by Satan. I was surprised to learn that the JEOHOVAH'S WITNESSES elevate the Great Pyramid of Giza to an important status in their belief system.
Lastly, I also found out about something called the "MELCHIZEDEK METHOD," which is a New Age technique of spiritual ascension and healing. Simply put, the Melchizedek Method demonstrates and teaches the skill of removing any part of the body, outer bodies, and thought programming into the higher dimensions to be cleansed and healed and then returned into the physical completely perfect. Holographic healing and rejuvenation is a skill all human beings will practice in the future, and will be instrumental in ridding the planet of illness and disease.
